Alzheimer’s and Dementia
Alzheimer’s and Dementia are both examples of degenerative neurological conditions.
Causes
Lack of mental stimulation, dehydration, malnutrition, salt deficiency and toxins are all potential contributory factors. There is also the possibility of poisoning from mercury, aluminium, lead, cadmium and copper. Given that nerve cells stop working when they are starved of oxygen, lack of blood flow to the brain caused by clogged arteries can cause mental degeneration; the arteries become blocked due to excess dietary fat, which in turn leads to high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Individuals with diabetes or celiac disease or smokers are also more likely to be affected by the condition. Insufficient vitamin D, E and B are another factor to consider. Research indicates that air pollutants can also have a degenerative effect on brain function and therefore contribute towards Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Symptoms
Alzheimer’s and dementia are characterised by a decline in mental health. Memory loss, confusion and uncharacteristic behaviour are the most common signs. Some individuals may become aggressive or even violent. Since there is currently no cure for the condition, those with Alzheimer’s continue to deteriorate until their life ends.
BICOM® Programs to be Used
Detoxification programs can be used as a preventative measure to reduce the build-up of neurodegenerative nanoparticles from air pollution, therefore helping prevent Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Supplements to take
Vitamin B (folic acid, B6 & B12), vitamin D3, vitamin E, iodine
Other therapies
Alzheimer’s and dementia patients may be given anti-psychotic drugs or ones that help to ease their symptoms but there is no cure available. Quitting smoking and removing toxins from the body are crucial to slow deterioration. A balanced diet that includes plenty of water and a sufficient amount of salt can lead to significant improvement in brain function. Limiting dietary fat can help to prevent blockages in the arteries that could otherwise impair brain function. Many people have found that incorporating coconut oil into their daily diet helps them to stay in good physical and mental health. To keep the mind active, memory games and other activities that encourage mental stimulation should be used.
Experiences and case studies
Medical practitioner Dr Christina Lund from Germany had success in treating a range of other neurological conditions through the use of bioresonance therapy. This was achieved by using toxin removal and own blood therapy and demonstrates how bioresonance therapy can be an effective method of treating and slowing the progress of neurological disorders.
