Anxiety Disorders
Anxiety is a key symptom of multiple disorders including Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder/Syndrome (PTSD/S) and schizophrenia.
Causes
Some anxiety disorders seem to stem from a single past traumatic event but most are caused by a combination of factors. Contributory elements can include low histamine, zinc or magnesium, high levels of copper possibly caused by excess oestrogen, abnormal levels of mercury and lead. There may also be a vitamin C or vitamin B-3 deficiency.
Symptoms
Both psychological and physical signs of anxiety can be present. Psychological indications include excessive paranoia, worrying and phobias. Physical symptoms of those with an anxiety disorder may include abnormal sensory perceptions, hallucinations or tinnitus. Some people suffer from panic attacks where they can experience dizziness, chest pain, excessive sweating, accelerated heart beat and breathing difficulties. The person’s ability to concentrate or to sleep can also be compromised.

Other therapies
Medication such as antidepressants and sedatives are often given to anxiety sufferers to ease their symptoms. Many people find Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) sessions help them to target the root cause of their anxiety. Restoring nutritional balance is important in helping to regulate histamine and improve emotional state. Drinking at least two litres of water each day and trying to get quality sleep can also be beneficial.
Experiences and case studies
A 38 year old former soldier, who had endured a difficult childhood due to an abusive father, was struggling with panic attacks and fits of rage when his co-worker accidentally dropped tools at work. He needed to be around other people and had ulcerative colitis and weeping inflammation of the tibia. After five bioresonance therapy sessions, he had spoken to his colleague and was feeling much more relaxed at work and his shins were healing. After having six sessions he decided to meet with his father, who apologised to him. He now is able to remain calm at work and has his ulcerative colitis under control.
