Awareness and bioresonance

Nowadays, our world view is largely materialistic. Although quantum physics has existed for almost 100 years, it is still difficult for today’s scientific community to accept a world view shaped by quantum physics. Attempts are still being made to push energetic therapy methods such as acupuncture, homoeopathy and even bioresonance into a “materialistic framework”, into which these individual therapy methods do not fit at all. Instead of being open to new methods and, if necessary, new scientific approaches, everything has to be tested, double-blind and evidence-based, even if it is already clear that you cannot measure these complementary methods with the same scale. Another scientific perspective, namely that of quantum physics, offers significantly better possible explanations here. In doing so, some quantum physicists have especially highlighted the influence of consciousness. The following observations are primarily supported by the findings of the quantum physicist, Prof. Dr. Amit Goswami. In his books (1, 2, 3), he provides explanations for energetic therapy methods and the influence of consciousness on our lives. For him, consciousness is the basis of all being.

What is consciousness?

Different theories exist:

1.      Monistic materialism: everything is matter. In the brain, there are only neurons with physical and chemical processes. In this model, consciousness is only an illusion or identical to the processes in the brain. Each awareness experience and all feelings and thoughts are, therefore, only a consequences of brain activity. Thus, the belief in free will is also an illusion.

2.      Interactionist dualism: consciousness and the brain are fundamentally different but work together in a sense. How this happens, however, we don’t yet know.

3.      “Epiphenomenalism”: activities in certain regions of the brain trigger certain awareness experiences, but consciousness has no effect on the activity of the brain or body. On the contrary, pain can then never lead to a physical reaction and you can never make a decision on it. More recent studies on neuroplasticity have also shown that the consciousness can indeed influence the anatomy and function of the brain in the long term.

4.      “Phenomenalism or immaterial, neutral monism”: all material, physical systems contain a type of subjective consciousness. All matter, therefore, has characteristics based on subjective perception. Thus, consciousness was present in the universe from the very beginning and all matter has subjective characteristics or consciousness. The “physical reality” is formed by consciousness. (1)

In the view of quantum physicist Amit Goswami, consciousness displays all of the basic principles of quantum physics: non-locality, complementarity, entanglement and bonding, as well as the capacity for the instant exchange of information in a dimension in which time, space and distance do not play a role. The past, present and future are, therefore, simultaneous, and do not exist locally. (1 ,2, 3)

In the opinion of the Dutch cardiologist Pim van Lommel, who has dealt with this topic intensively in his worth-reading book “Endless consciousness. New Medical Facts on Near-Death Experiences”, consciousness is always non-local and constantly outside the body, but also often present inside the body (see C. G. Jung’s Collective Unconscious). In connection with near-death experiences, he also explains his concept of the continuity of consciousness. (4)

What role does the consciousness of therapists and patients play in the application of bioresonance therapy and during the healing process, and how can we make use of it when treating our patients?

Quantum physics can help us again to answer these questions. Furthermore, it can help us to explain our work as “energy doctors/therapists” in a scientific manner and it offers us a new approach, a new paradigm for integrative medicine. Firstly, we must explain a few terms and principles of quantum physics.

“Classical physics assumes that the objective reality functions in accordance with certain fixed rules. All events in our world take place within an unchanged structure of space and time, in accordance with a fixed set of rules that can be explained with the clear terms of reality, causality, continuity and locality. Classical physics requires that perceived reality is also objectively real in the physical world.

Quantum physics, however, has turned the classical, scientific idea of our material, clearly identifiable world on its head. Its key terms are superposition, complementarity, the uncertainty principle, measurement problem and entanglement or non-locality.” (4)

Complementarity

Quantum objects have a particle and wave aspect. The particles and waves do not just apply to light, but also to matter, which comprises 99.999 per cent “nothingness”. Depending on the experimental design, we can observe the wave aspect or particle aspect of light, but never both at the same time. Particles and waves are complementary aspects of light.

Quantum objects have the characteristic that they only manifest themselves in normal space-time if we observe them as particles (wave collapse). If a quantum object is not observed, it has neither a fixed place in space and time nor fixed properties, as is known from classical physics.

Therefore, there is an inseparability of the object from the way it is viewed.

For us BICOM therapists, this means that our conscious observation, together with that of the patient, determines the diagnosis and the therapy in the end and, therefore, in terms of quantum physics, brings the waves to collapse. With the aid of the set frequency that we find using resonance testing, the BICOM helps to focus our attention on the area that needs to be harmonised/balanced and to make the necessary information available. The applicators that we use likewise help us to focus attention on a certain area of the body. During therapy with the device, the patient is located in a cybernetic control loop so that the treatment is always adapted to the individual.

Superposition

Where a particle (e.g. a photon) is located cannot be found by a calculation. If the position of a particle is unknown, it is in a “superposition”, i.e. surrounded by a kind of cloud of possible whereabouts. “Probability wave” (wave function) is the designation for a wave that indicates the probability in quantum mechanics of a particle being found in a certain position (domain of potentiality).

Uncertainty principle

Werner Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle says that perception is not possible without the fundamental observance of the object. Some quantum physicists (e.g. Amit Goswami) go further and say that consciousness is as fundamental as matter and energy and that the consciousness thus decides if and how we experience the (subjective) reality. In a literal sense, you can therefore say that our consciousness creates the physical world.

Non-local entanglement or bonding

The manifestation that has materialised through our observation of a quantum object influences the linked twin object instantly, regardless of how far away they are from each other (quantum long-distance effect). The objects are bonded together outside of space and time (bonding). We designate the space in which time and distance do not play a role, where everything is instantaneous and constantly linked with one another, as a  non-local space. In this case, there is a reality that continuously has an influence on our physical world. If we carry out “distance therapy” with the BICOM, we are making use of non-local bonding or entanglement. The therapy functions instantaneously, outside of space and time.

“Our communication worldwide is based on the coding and decoding of information that is stored in certain frequencies or wavelengths of the electro-magnetic field and is thus not immediately perceivable for our senses. Radios, televisions, mobile phones and wireless internet connections allow us to receive this information and then send it off again. Our entire world view consists of all this information that our awareness receives through our senses. From this information, our consciousness forms the picture that we have of ourselves and of our world.” (4) Furthermore, there is also signal-less, non-local, discontinuous communication. This is the basis of communication in morphic fields (Rupert Sheldrake) and also for telepathy. Morphic fields have an effect on biological systems, but also on other structures. They contain the blueprint for the

creation of form (morphogenesis) and functionality, e.g. of organs, but also for behaviour and learning capacity.

So, how can we also use these findings in our work as holistic-thinking therapists in terms of bioresonance?

Here, we refer to the energy-medical classification in individual bodies that you can find in many different medical approaches (chakra theory, traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, etc.). The human body is divided into 5-7 bodies:

Depending on the literature, there are slight differences here. The following classification comes from the books of Dr. Amit Goswami. (2,3)

1.    Physical body: (inc. sensory impressions)

2.    Vital body: contains the energetic body (emotional body and ether body) with emotions, feelings, etc.

3.    Mental body: (thoughts, stored thoughts and behavioural patterns)

4.    Supramental body: (intuition)

5.    Causal body: spiritual body (awareness)

The individual bodies are linked with each other. The ether works as a communication medium, so to say. Our consciousness is found non-locally in a dimension outside of space and time, both inside and outside our body. Through our consciousness, we have access to the morphic field information (Sheldrake), in which the blueprints to our organs and all information exists. Our consciousness then makes a decision on if, and how, we want to experience subjective reality.

Furthermore, it makes sense to differentiate between consciousness and awareness. Only with consciousness and awareness together does the collapse of the wave function in terms of quantum physics occur and a measurement is complete. With awareness, our consciousness thus selects one of many possibilities if it manifests the material reality. Attention is thereby the decisive element in deciding between conscious and unconscious awareness. Attention and selectivity belong together.

Our consciousness thus also decides whether we feel ill or sick or if we feel healthy. Here, we distinguish very deliberately between disease and “being ill” or “feeling ill/illness”. Often, large discrepancies appear between the “material” results measured (x-ray images, laboratory results, etc.) and the personal sensations of illness of the patient. You can, therefore, have a severe illness and feel healthy, and conversely, you can feel very ill without an “external” illness being identified.

Causes of illness can be found on all levels. The effects of an illness can likewise influence the entire body. The decision on whether to “be ill” is made by the consciousness. Our consciousness decides how we perceive the world and this information is processed by the brain and then transmitted using neurotransmitters to the immune system, nervous system and end organs.

So when we talk about healing, then we pretty much know already that, with naturopathic methods such as bioresonance, homoeopathy and acupuncture, we are offering the patient an aid for self-help, so to say, as we strengthen the body’s own ability to heal itself. Often, therapists and patients alike don’t know that the awareness of the therapist has as much of an influence as that of the patient.

When we work with BICOM, we focus our attention on our patients, if, within the framework of our energetic testing, we test resonance on the programme or frequency information from ampoules. In the moment that the therapist and the patient consciously observe this test, their consciousness causes the waves to collapse, so to say, and to manifest the results found. In the process of our testing, we use the energetic communication system of the body (ether body) and also use information from the morphogenetic field (Sheldrake). Naturally, this also works when we only test a drop of blood from a patient. Here, the phenomena of entanglement has an influence.

With this knowledge, we have now tried to involve our patients more consciously in their own healing process. We have designed a concept based on findings from Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, chakra medicine and our bio-energetic examination results from bioresonance. We can use this concept for chronically ill patients. A comprehensive anamnesis is the first step here. It contains, alongside the usual questions on health status, past illness, operations etc., questions on their personal assessment of their health status. In the view of the patient, what is the cause for their illness? When did it all start? How ill do they feel actually? Here, we are also trying to uncover old thought patterns, stressors, etc. within the framework of a comprehensive discussion.

The cause of an illness and “being ill” can be on the level of the physical body, vital body or mental body. Thus, it is necessary to identify the level of the cause of illness and then change it using our awareness. The goal is to illustrate stressors, “incorrect” thought patterns, conditioned “incorrect” behaviours, unhealthy lifestyles, etc. and to make it clear to the patient that, if necessary, they need to change their lifestyle, views and conscious decisions to become healthy again.

Highlighting or knowing about the causes of an illness as such are not sufficient to accomplish healing themselves. What must be achieved is a deep knowledge, information that reaches a cell level and the entire body and manifests there are practical knowledge. Only then is healing possible.

For this purpose, three steps must be followed by patients:

1.    Self-awareness through objective observation

2.    Intention (meaning, purpose of change, target, life task)

3.    Creative change (lifestyle, environment)

On this basis, we have developed individual approaches for the diagnoses and therapy of individual causes of illness (disharmony patterns) for different types of patients. The basis for this is diagnostic criteria from traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine and homoeopathy.

8 diagnostic guiding criteria from traditional Chinese medicine:

Inner-Outer

Empty-Full

Hot-Cold

Yin-Yang

Inner causes of illness (5 emotions):

Anger

Happiness

Sadness

Worry/thoughtfulness

Fear

In the view of traditional Chinese medicine, inner organs and their emotional aspects influence each other. Western medicine tends to see the influence of emotions on organs as a secondary phenomena and not as a primary, causal factor in illness. On the contrary, Chinese medicine understands emotions as an integral and inseparable part of the sphere of influence of an inner organ.” (5)

Outer causes of illness:

Wind, cold, dampness, dryness, fire/heat

The disharmony patterns described above are based on the symptom complex currently existing in the patient. Here, cause and effect are just as closely linked with each other as in the approaches of TCM and homoeopathy. Of course, not every patient can be placed in a pattern and there are going to be a few overlaps, but you will find that there is still a predominant pattern that you can follow.

We are aware that Chinese medicine is based on disharmony patterns that go further here and bind individual organs with the aspects of fullness and emptiness, Qi and blood, etc., as well as internal and external influences. Even the Doshas system is generally more diverse and has far more aspects than we have presented here. Equally, the materia medica of the individual homoeopathic remedies are naturally not so simple to separate into 5 categories. However, we have done that, as we wanted to have a system that is reasonably understandable for therapists and laymen alike, who have not completed training in TCM, Ayurveda or homoeopathy.

The experiences that we have had working with this system show us that it is also feasible on this simple basis.

Therapeutic concept

1.    Raising awareness of individual causes of illness and stressors

Here, we use special interview techniques and questionnaires, as well as diagnostic schema, and if necessary, also the 5 elements of the CTT test kit.

2.    Changing lifestyle

“5 points”

·           Individually customised diet

·           Movement/sports/exercise

·           Removing stressors (stress management/sufficient rest periods)

·           Elimination of (environmental) toxins

·           Removing damaging drugs and habits

Here, we give individual suggestions for changing life habits and carry out a detoxification through BICOM therapy and, if necessary, use homoeopathic remedies.

3.) Detoxification/removing blockages through BRT

During the BICOM BRT, we focus the patient’s attention on their health through certain exercises and thus make use of the awareness of the patient. At the same time, the therapist focuses their attention on the health of the patient. Thus, both of them cause a wave collapse in terms of quantum physics, due to their awareness. This is the first step in the manifestation of health instead of illness. BRT has an effect on the vital body and the physical body at the same time here.

The patients do these attention exercises either during certain programmes on certain topics (e. g. see new programme attached) or during the entire therapy appointment.

4.) Breathing exercises (pranayama)

To also reach the mental body, discussions are led depending on the disharmony pattern identified and breathing exercises are learned.

In terms of mental disharmony patterns, we distinguish between 3 different types:

A.      The intellectual, who has no access to their feelings (structural creativity). Here, we recommend breathing exercises, during which the body is scanned (felt) (“body scan”). Furthermore, these patients should meditate on an object, a topic or a feeling.

B.      The hyperactive type, who finds it hard to relax and to focus. Here, we recommend that the patients do the breathing exercises at the same time as counting backwards or focussing alternately on the near and far. Furthermore, Tai Qi/Qi gong exercises are recommended.

C.      The conditioned type: Stuck in conditioned, old thought patterns and behaviours. Here, we work with the methods of psychosynthesis of Roberto Assagioli. We try to make the patient an objective (self)observer in order to expose “incorrect” thought patterns and behaviours.

I have a body, but I am not my body.

I have feelings, but I am not my feelings.

I have desires, but I am not my desires.

I have a soul, but I am not my soul.

I am a centre of pure consciousness. (Roberto Assagioli)

We use similar breathing exercises for patients with disharmonies on an emotional  level. Here, we demonstrate some exercises.

5.) Self exercises: yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, meditation

Depending on the disharmony pattern, individual self exercises (yoga, Tai Chi / Qi Gong, meditation) are given as “homework”.

6.) Prerequisites for creating health (environment, thoughts, feelings, visualisation)

The mental, emotional and physical transition using our awareness creates the prerequisite for recovery. Now, the patient should also adjust their environment to this and see themselves no longer as a “patient”, but as a healthy person. Here, also use homoeopathy, Rosalind and Bach flowers, etc. when releasing emotional strain and “mental blocks”. It is also important to include the family in this new “being healthy”.

Here, we give a few practical examples.
