Dental Health
Causes
Dental work including x-rays, fillings, dentures, braces, implants and crowns introduce metals, chemicals and radiation into the body and if the body can’t detoxify at a great enough rate, this can lead to an overload of toxicity, contributing towards serious health problems. Metals in the mouth can cause an imbalance in pH; acidic conditions can cause bacteria and fungi growth, ulceration and decay, while highly alkaline environments can lead to infections and loss of minerals. Amalgam fillings contain 50% mercury and a combination of other metals, which are released into the body through vapour, erosion and leakage into the roots. This mercury is then able to be absorbed into the blood stream and can even be passed from mother to child via the placenta. Any material, extractions or infections that occur in the mouth can cause energy blockages and directly affect other parts of the body including the brain, since it is so close to the teeth. Smoking is a contributory factor in periodontal disease as this depletes vitamin C from the body and causes acidity and damage from free radicals, which allows bacteria to breed. Periodontal disease can be caused by inadequate teeth cleaning, poor immunity, hormonal imbalance and poor nutrition.
Symptoms
Periodontal diseases include gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis is where plaque bacteria causes gum inflammation, reddening and bleeding. There may be pain, pressure or a sensitivity to cold in the mouth. Sometimes the gums may feel loose and move around. Periodontitis is a more serious version of the same condition where bacteria reproduces rapidly and there can be a decline in the jaw bone and loss of teeth. Amalgam and mercury contamination can worsen many conditions such as allergies, dementia, fibromyalgia, migraines and problems with the central nervous system. Other metals used in dental treatment can compromise the immune system, contribute towards cancer, cause kidney failure and damage the brain. Metal toxicity can also prevent minerals from being absorbed, leading to deficiencies.

Other therapies
Teeth need to be cleaned regularly and properly, after each meal if possible. Regular dental check-ups will help to identify any dental health problems early so that they can be treated appropriately. The body needs to be fuelled by a plant-based diet and beneficial fat sources such as coconut oil. Removing wheat from the diet will reduce the strain on the immune system. Plenty of water should be consumed every day, along with a small amount of salt. Lifestyle changes especially quitting smoking and cutting down on or eliminating alcohol will help. Regular exercise will help to detoxify the body and therefore support the immune system. Having a regular sleep pattern and good-quality sleep will help to encourage melatonin production.
Experiences and case studies
After having a wisdom teeth extraction, one previously healthy lady suffered from mood swings, tiredness, itching skin, swollen eyes, aching and tearfulness. Help from doctors failed to improve her condition and she was not always taken seriously. Fortunately, she tried bioresonance therapy, which removed blockages and allergies and now she describes herself as being “clear-skinned, healthy and full of energy”.
