Eyes
Causes
Many eye-related problems seem to occur with old age, though other environmental factors also play a part. Weeping eyes occur when a person’s tear ducts become blocked or strained, this can lead to conjunctivitis if the irritation continues. Eye inflammation can be triggered by an allergy or a bacterial or viral infection. The nerves and muscles in the eye can become strained when they are repeatedly exposed to quickly-changing light conditions or are focused on screens for a long time. Macular degeneration can be age-related or may occur as a side-effect of certain types of medication. Glaucoma occurs when fluid builds up in the eye, putting pressure on the eye and damaging the optic nerve.
Symptoms
With some conditions, patients may experience a stabbing sensation in or behind the eye, which can cause the eye to flutter. Visual problems include: tunnel vision, where peripheral vision is lost; long-sightedness (presbyopia) where it becomes harder to see up close, such as when reading; short-sightedness (myopia) where far away objects appear blurred. Eye infections can lead to weeping eyes, redness, inflammation, painful lumps on the eyelids (styes) or corneal ulcers. Macular degeneration can gradually develop over several years with few symptoms. Eventually, it causes rapid eyesight deterioration, which causes blurriness and distortion in the centre of the range of vision and can result in blindness. Glaucoma leads to vision loss, which can ultimately end in blindness. Cataracts compromise a person’s ability to focus on objects in front of them and can cause them to have blurred vision or light sensitivity.

Other therapies
Eating a diet containing a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables will provide important antioxidants. Quitting smoking and limiting alcohol consumption will help to prevent eye deterioration. Too much exposure to UV radiation can damage the eyes, so it is good to wear sunglasses. Regular exercise can also help reduce the risk of eye problems occurring. If possible, avoid taking any medication that has an adverse effect on the eyes. Certain eye problems can be treated with eye drops and antihistamines or cortisol may be used to help inflammatory conditions. Mild vision problems can be helped with the use of prescription glasses or contact lenses. Some patients may be helped by having surgery on their eyes or laser eye treatment. Macular degeneration can be treated with anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) medication. Eye exercises may benefit weepy or strained eyes and it is important that eyes are given time to rest by having breaks from screens.
Experiences and case studies
In one large study on the effect of bioresonance therapy on allergy patients, 80 individuals with conjunctivitis received Bicom treatment. At the end of the study, 66 of the patients had recovered and 12 had experienced an improvement in their condition. This meant a 95% success rate.
