Infertility
Causes
Men and women can both have hormonal problems which may compromise their ability to conceive. Certain types of chemicals, medication and illicit drugs can also have a negative impact. The woman may have a physiological obstruction or another problem that is preventing pregnancy. Various health conditions, such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis can also contribute towards infertility. Stress can cause infertility symptoms if sustained over a long period of time. Women may be more likely to have with problems becoming pregnant as they get older.
Symptoms
Infertility is diagnosed when a person has had repeated failed attempts at becoming pregnant over a considerable amount of time. Women with hormonal issues may have symptoms such as weight gain, skin problems and increased facial hair. They may have irregular menstruation or an absence of periods. Very heavy or painful periods that make everyday life difficult can be a sign that a woman has endometriosis, as can painful intercourse. Men with hormonal issues may have reduced libido, testicular pain or inflammation or problems with erection.

Other therapies
Having a regular exercise routine will help improve a person’s general health and may help them to become pregnant. Dietary adjustments may also improve a person’s chances or pregnancy. The diet should be primarily plant-based and incorporate fibre and beneficial fats, while excluding or reducing refined sugar, dairy and flour. Limiting caffeine and alcohol consumption and abstaining from smoking and taking drugs are important. Taking steps to reduce stress and trying to establish a proper pattern of sleep may also improve the chances of pregnancy. It may also be of benefit to avoid certain types of medication that could be contributing towards the condition. Drugs can be taken to help men with a low sperm count or to stimulate ovulation in women. In some cases, intrauterine insemination may be an effective approach, such as if the man is unable to ejaculate. In vitro fertilisation (IVF) may be used, where eggs are fertilised in a test tube to be later implanted into the mother. It may be necessary to undergo surgery to correct any physical obstructions or problems that are preventing pregnancy.
Experiences and case studies
After having tried conventional methods, one 34-year-old woman was puzzled as to why she couldn’t become pregnant, despite her and her husband being physically well. She decided to try bioresonance therapy, which treated her for various stresses and allergies, and after 8 treatments she was amazed to discover she was pregnant! The baby was delivered 10 months later by caesarean.
