Meridian therapy in the low deep frequency range

Introduction
Meridian therapy is a tried and tested, successful therapy method in the normal frequency range and has been used by therapists for many years. The successes with the new programs in the low deep frequency range and the options from the symmetrical amplification sweep gave us the idea to apply meridian therapy in the low deep frequency range too in order to make the most of the new options offered by the BICOM BICOM optima® device.
The following programs were identified and tested on numerous patients both with the tensor technique and also EAV (Voll’s electroacupuncture). Therapy success was ascertained by direct testing of the EAV points subsequent to therapy and by surveying patients on average one week after therapy about any improvement in their symptoms. In addition the results were verified with the help of the CTT 5 element test set.
The procedure for testing and therapy
The following meridian programs all feature the symmetrical amplification sweep. This has shown itself to be particularly effective. Two programs were identified for each meridian. We have named these with the respective meridian name and the program numbers 1 and 2. We have deliberately avoided the terms “acute” and “chronic” with the new programs. We recommend that therapists who wish to use these programs test both meridian programs and then use the version to which the patient shows resonance. Should both programs be needed, which rarely happens in one session, you should decide what needs priority and test once more after therapy is carried out to see whether the second program is still needed. Usually this will not be the case.
In principle these programs can be used for meridian flooding or the applicator is placed on an organ area corresponding to the relevant meridian. The latter method is likely to be preferable in the veterinary field. Flooding can be carried out for the traditional Chinese meridians. The principle is the same as the one you are already familiar with from meridian therapy in the normal frequency range.
Meridian flooding:
I: Button applicator (black cable) on the end point of the meridian
O: Button applicator (red cable) on the start point of the meridian and additionally the modulation mat on the patient’s back
Then the flow direction is reversed. The applicators remain and the cables are swapped over. In other words, for the second run the end point of the meridian is at the output (red cable) and the start point of the meridian at the input (black cable).
The new adhesive applicators are ideally suited for this form of therapy.
Input applicator in the region of the corresponding organ
In the case of the classic acupuncture meridians as described in traditional Chinese medicine, the applicators are placed on the respective organs, while for Dr Voll’s meridians they are placed on the tried and tested points as indicated below alongside the respective program parameters.
You can store the program parameters specified below in your BICOM® devices and also create useful program series. For example together with the traditional meridian programs in the normal frequency range or together with the relevant specific meridians (e.g. lymph, connective tissue, skin or metabolism, large and small intestine). For example you can also store different large intestine programs together with the low deep frequency meridian programs for the large intestine. The possibilities here are endless. Creating program series makes the work involved in testing so much easier.
Please remember when inputting program parameters that a symmetrical amplification sweep with H+Di is a reciprocal amplification sweep. That is to say on input you go to bandpass test and then set the corresponding frequency in Di. H then gives a reciprocal response and does not need to be set. Only in this way will you receive exactly the same parameters as described below.
The symmetrical sweep rate is the same for all programs at 25 seconds. The therapy time is 4 minutes in each case, so essentially the programs are differentiated by the bandpass and amplification settings.

With Dr Voll’s meridians you will see in some cases ‘problem area’ indicated for the applicator position. This is the case with the connective tissue meridian, the lymph meridian and the allergy meridian. This means that when placing applicators you should select the area where the patient is experiencing problems (e.g. eczema, swelling, etc.) This also applies of course to the skin meridian. Here the applicator should be placed on the affected area of the skin. With the lymph meridian, axillary or inguinal placement of the applicators is of course an option.
Therapeutic results
As already mentioned, patients tested using electroacupuncture measurement (EAV) were measured immediately before and after meridian therapy. Here most patients showed a clear improvement in measured values or an equilibrium (normal value) after therapy. Experience also shows that often a balance is achieved with the corresponding meridians (Yin/Yang partners) within an element even where only one meridian of the affected element has been treated. This is an interesting observation, which often concurs with an obvious improvement in symptoms reported by patients subsequent to therapy.
We questioned patients usually one week after therapy and in approximately 80% of cases they experienced a subjective improvement in the symptoms they had previously complained of. An impressive case here is that of a Swedish female patient who suffered from tinnitus and during therapy of kidney meridian 1 in the low deep frequency range reported a clear improvement in her tinnitus and a reduction in her previously experienced stress.
Another impressive case was that of a German female patient with severe psoriasis, who in a single therapy session also received meridian therapy in the low deep frequency range in addition to the basic therapy. An applicator was placed in the area of skin most often affected and therapy applied using skin meridian 2 and connective tissue meridian 1 one after the other. Subsequently the patient received a further therapy with the 5 elements test set (metal, skin, large intestine, impaired elimination). A week after this the patient reported that her skin, which was previously inflamed and open, had quickly healed. There was an obvious improvement in the condition of her skin.
One female patient with asthma received meridian therapy with lung meridian 2 in addition to the basic therapy and the „423 Bronchitis” program, and also received therapy with the lung meridian ampoule via channel 2. This led to an improvement in subjective tidal volume even while therapy was taking place plus an improvement in lung condition when measured with a peak flow meter during the whole of the following week.
These are just a few examples from our tests on meridian therapy using the low deep frequencies. Simultaneous therapy with the relevant meridian ampoules from the 5 elements test set of the CTT on channel 2 have also proven helpful. There have also been successes in combination with other ampoules from the CTT (e.g. the stress ampoules from the allergic stresses test set). This ampoule can be used very well in combination with the nervous system meridian or the two new therapy programs “Brain 1 and 2” in channel 2. Often even during therapy this brings about a feeling of reduced stress. The two new low deep frequency programs “Brain 1 and 2” are also suitable for use together in one therapy session together with the “shock programs” (3094, 3095), which have proven very effective or also as part of therapy for hormonal problems (hypophysis). Of course you can also use the new meridian programs in combination with the substance complexes too. The permutations here too are endless. Just test out which therapy parameters complement each other best.
Therapy with these meridian programs is suitable also as a supplementary therapy as part of the usual CTT therapy regime.
1. Basic therapy
2. Meridian/organ-specific or indicationspecific follow-up therapy (e.g. block therapy, opening elimination organs etc.)
3. Therapy for pathogenic stresses (Ai)
4. Elimination of pathogenic stresses (A)
5. Stabilisation via the 5 elements test set
You can of course also supplement them with the patient’s own frequencies or use them as a single therapy.
We hope you will enjoy trying out these new programs and that they help you to successfully treat your patients in the future. At the same time you should of course as a therapist not only look after your patients’ health and happiness but also your own wellbeing and administer therapy on yourself from time to time.
