Five element theory portrays the connections, interactions and dependencies existing between the meridians. As a result, it contains all the information on the body’s regulator y mechanisms and provides the basis for a holistic diagnosis and therapy system.

The term “5 element theory” comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The five elements (fire, earth, metal, water and wood) char – acterise five “energy cycles”, each element having four meridians assigned to it.

Alongside the classic meridian partners, classified as either Yin or Yang, Dr. Voll added in his electroacupuncter further meridians that he called vessels.

The meridians in an element are, from an energy viewpoint, linked together inseparably in twos and share an energy exchange. We call these meridian partners and consequently, in each element, we find four meridians, linked together in pairs (Fig. 1).

A meridian is itself a “feedback circuit” of an internal organ.

When a meridian’s self-regulation is impaired, it first receives energetic assistance from its meridian partner in the form of energy release. However, if this energy release is insufficient, ener – getic support is then extended to the two other meridians in its element.

To this extent it is possible that a latently diseased meridian constantly needs energy supplied by the other meridians belonging to its element. In this way, if the worst comes to the worst, the other three meridians may also decline into an energy deficit thereby decompensating the entire element.

It is interesting to note here that not all meridians, or rather organs, necessarily develop symptoms! Energy levels first become impaired with-out the patient being aware of a corresponding physical disorder.

On the other hand, physical disorders may become apparent at the same time as individual or all energy levels become impaired.

Example: a patient’s complaints which manifest themselves solely in the area of the metal element may affect all the organs in that element and trigger a wide variety of symptoms. Not only the large intestine (chronic colitis) but the lungs (bronchial asthma), skin (neurodermatitis) and connective tissue (fibromyalgia) may be affected. Symptoms may also occur at meridians within other elements; i.e. the patient with the above set of symptoms also suffers from an allergy (in the water element) or hypertension (in the fire element) or gallstones (in the wood element).

Following testing according to the 5 element theory, all these symptoms may possibly be at – tributed to one single cause.

Moreover, the many different interactions between the meridians may be related in diagnosis to a variety of symptoms.

This also applies if excessive energy demands on the metal element have led to a loss of energy in other elements (e. g. water element; allergy symptoms).

Thorough testing according to the 5 element theory may provide the crucial answer to the question of which original impairment set off the whole chain reaction in the body.

This provides a starting point for therapy and even a logically structured plan for treating the cause of the disorders present.

Within each element, in addition to the four meridians, and strictly assigned to these meridians, there is a paranasal sinus, a tonsil and one or two tooth sockets. This all forms part of a rigorously structured order

Consequently, according to these laws, there is also an energy link between the four meridians within an element and the paranasal sinuses, tonsils and tooth sockets. These can be regarded as “security systems” since, as an inseparable part of the whole, they initially have a stabilising influence within a meridian. When stressed they may, however, cause impairments which not infrequently act as focal processes on the body. An impairment of this type needs only to affect the whole system long enough to decompensate a meridian and subsequently even an element.

When testing the 5 elements and also testing the meridians responsible for the problem, the “security systems” should not be overlooked in the diagnostic plan since they may act as focal processes permanently affecting the whole system, especially if so-called “coupled foci” are present (e. g. sinusitis/prostatitis).

THE BICOM COMBINED TEST TECHNIQUE

The Combined Test Technique is based on inves-tigations by Dr More11, Dr Voll, Prof. Smith and Herr Schwarze amongst others. It offers a new approach in bioenergetic diagnosis and therapy, whose development began back in the 1980s.

It has been known since Dr Voll began testing medication that test impulses can be applied with-out incorporation, demonstrating that bioenergetic oscillations alone are capable, with the right reso-nator, of altering the patient’s oscillation range.

Dr More11 (and later Dr Schumacher) was the first to use the BICOM® device as a diagnostic agent in ongoing therapy when he applied an unmodi-fied foodstuff to the organism using A inverse, all frequencies (program 999) to determine the reac-tion in the sense of an ident response using the tensor.

With classic pathogenic nosode preparations (e. g. bacteria, toxins, etc.), the tests were incon-clusive and therapy was not sufficiently effective.

Alfred Schwarze conducted further basic re-search after studying some of Prof. Smith’s work. The latter demonstrated the body’s five response paths in testing and, by developing the frequency sweep in the BICOM® device, Herr Schwarze pro-vided the technical requirements for extended test techniques.

It was now possible, with the development of specific test ampoules, to define the energetic connections within 5 element theory accurately using test ampoules.

In addition to establishing a comprehensive di-agnosis, the Combined Test Technique ampoules also make it possible to treat the elements and their associated meridians directly using the BICOM® device.

The substance being tested is activated by the BICOM® device and converted straight into a thera-peutic impulse. The oscillation pattern of the sub-stance being tested is amplified tenfold using pro-gram 192, for example, administering therapy in a matter of seconds.

You are treating the patient while you test him!

Traditional nosode testing in EAV often de-tects over forty pathogenic substances without it being possible to distinguish any order of priority.

The BICOM® device’s bandpass technology, which sweeps the individual electromagnetic os-cillations from 10 Hz to 150 kHz like a spotlight, together with preparation of appropriate test am-poules, enables precisely those substances to be detected which trigger in the body the resonance which is needed immediately to maintain the steady state.

The recently developed BICOM® test kit en-ables the therapist to identify biocybernetic as-sociations and obtain a thorough diagnosis and therapy system in a short space of time.

INFORMATION ON THE 5 ELEMENT TEST KIT

The 5 element test kit contains the five elements in different colouring and their meridians in cor-responding colouring (Fig. 2).

Each element contains four meridians; how-ever, the meridian series contains more than just four ampoules.

Individual meridians have been subdivided into their constituents to enable extended diagno-sis (e. g. the bladder meridian is subdivided into “bladder/efferent urinary tracts” and “female genitals” and “male genitals”).

The set also contains attenuation ampoules for the elements, a distinction between acute and chronic conditions and specific stress ampoules, which point to further test kits for pathogenic stresses.

The 5 element test kit therefore covers the fol-lowing five areas:
1. the 5 elements
2. the meridians within the elements
3. acute and chronic conditions
4. stress ampoules
5. attenuation ampoules

TEST DESIGN FOR BICOM COMBINED TEST TECHNIQUE

Just the ampoule being tested is placed in the in-put cup of the BICOM® device as a therapeutic im-pulse. Alternatively the ampoule may also be placed in an input honeycomb or contact made with a pick-up applicator.

When diagnosing with EAP, kinesiology or RAC, the output of the BICOM® device is con-nected to a hand applicator which the patient holds.

In tensor diagnosis, the output of the BIcom device is connected to a footplate positioned at 90° to the patient.

The tensor itself is held between the patient and the footplate.

The patient is only connected to the output of the BICOM® device, never to the input!

The test substance whose energetic impulses are to be transferred to the patient is placed in the input. The patient’s responsive, regulatory and compensatory systems do not merely respond to the material being tested, they react to it as ther-apy, induced by the amplified energetic impulse.

The BICOM® device is switched:

  • in the case of testing by tensor, kinesiology or RAC
    to
    ON and START

  • in testing with EAP
    to
ON and START and OUTPUT TEST.

Stabilising impulses (e. g. 5 element test kit) are tested on A with a 3-second frequency sweep (program 192, A, amplified 10 times, or program 198, A, all amplifications in the amplification sweep).

Pathological impulses (e. g. bacteria) are tested on Ai with a 3-second frequency sweep (program 191, Ai, amplified 10 times, or program 197, Ai, all amplifications in the amplification sweep).

EST PROCEDURE FOR BICOM COMBINED TEST TECHNIQUE

Th prntionl pri-,f.edure fniir steps.

Firstly, we obtain an overall view of the pa-tient’s general energetic state and secondly the steps to follow and subsequent course of therapy are determined.

The 5 element test kit is always tested using therapy type A (program 192 or 198). During testing, it is not just the impulse but rather the therapeutic response to the impulse which is tested for the patient immediately starts to reso-nate.

Step 1

An element ampoule is placed in the input cup of the BICOM® device. Alternatively the ampoule may also be placed in an input honeycomb or contact made with a pick-up applicator.

If matching resonance is achieved, this element is decompensated based on an overlying impair-ment which has affected all response levels:

  • in tensor testing through horizontal movement of the tensor

  • in kinesiology through a strong muscle reflex

  • in EAP through an improved test reading towards 50 (Caution: if the initial reading was already 50 and does not change even when the appropriate element ampoule is tested, this means that the therapeutic impulse from this ampoule is required.)

The whole element is impaired, regardless of whether one or several meridians are responsible. You should test all five element ampoules one after the other in the manner described.

If none of the element ampoules tested posi-tive, there is no decompensation present at the highest response level. Nevertheless, in the course of subsequent testing, one or other meridian will obviously resonate.

Step 2

Now the meridians within the element which was primarily impaired are tested. It is thereby possi-ble to diagnose the meridian responsible for the overlying impairment in the element which was primarily impaired.

One meridian within an element may be re-sponsible for it being decompensated; however, this overlying impairment may also be attributable to several meridians

Please note that a whole element does not nee-essnily hve to 1-,e rif”compensat.,-,1; a meriflign will be affected in any event however!

Step 3

The meridians are now placed separately in the input of the BICOM® device once more to extend the diagnosis and determine the principal stages of therapy.

It is crucial here that the stress ampoules marked lilac and the ampoules for acute and chronic conditions which are marked violet are added after each other.

First it is established whether the tested me-ridian is affected acutely or chronically, i.e. the resonance or dissonance of the meridian ampoule together with one of the two violet ampoules is noted.

Secondly, it is observed whether the tested me-ridian resonates with one (or more) of the lilac stress ampoules. It is also possible to test the stress ampoules together with any element am-poules tested.

Step 4

Finally the attenuation ampoules in the 5 element test kit are tested. A positive test result indicates that the affected element is subject to severe ener-getic stress which must be reduced.

At this stage it is not important which element ampoules (or meridian ampoules) tested positive beforehand.

Poss. step 1A

If one or more element ampoules started resonat-ing, i.e. tested as decompensated, you can check these for resonance with the remaining four ele-ment ampoules.

This is only possible, however, in patients suf-fering from severe, and thus generally chronically manifest, symptoms.
An example:

If you have tested the water element, now check the effect this element has on the other elements: fire, earth, metal and wood.

This way you can see whether the element in question affects other elements, i.e. whether it “draws off’ energy from other elements:

  • when tensor testing, you connect your tensor and the goldfmger applicator to a lead and hold the goldfinger to a terminal point of a meridian of another element. You then look out for resonance or dissonance in the tensor move-ment.

  • when testing with kinesiology, you connect the patient’s hand applicator and the goldfinger applicator to a lead and hold the goldfinger to a terminal point of a meridian of another ele-ment. You then look out for resonance or dis-sonance in the muscle reflex.

  • when testing with EAP, you test a terminal point of a meridian of another element. You then look out for resonance or dissonance in the response reading in relation to the initial reading. (Caution: even an initial reading of 50 does not change with resonance!)

If you test positive resonance, the element where you have tested resonance is releasing energy to the element in the input cup of the BICOM® device. This establishes the diagnosis that this element is also increasingly stressed and decompensated.

Caution: Elements from which energy is drawn off may be the symptom donor in the patient’s condition. Consequently they certainly need treating but are not a priority within the structured therapeutic plan. The priority is always the ele-ments which are drawing off energy.

PROCEDURE FOR THERAPY

1. Basic therapy

  • The patient is connected to the input and the output of the BICOM® device.

  • The input cup may possibly also contain addi-tional substances secreted or excreted by the patient.

2. Follow-up programs

The patient is connected to the input and out-put of the BICOM® device.
The input cup may possibly also contain addi-tional substances secreted or excreted by the patient.

3. Pathogenic stress

  • The patient is only connected to the output of the BICOM® device.
The input cup contains the tested ampoule from a pathogenic stress test kit.

  • It is treated with an Ai program.

  • Always test amplification and time!

4. Elimination

  • The patient is only connected to the output of the BICOM® device.
The input cup contains the tested elimination ampoule from the corresponding pathogenic stress test kit.

  • It is treated with an A program.

  • Always test amplification and time!

5. Stabilisation

  • The patient is only connected to the output of the BICOM® device.
The input cup contains the energy compensat-ing ampoules from the 5 element test kit.

  • These are placed in the input cup one after the other in the order of the response levels and treated with an A program:
first the primarily impaired element is treated (if necessary),

  • secondly the primarily impaired meridians are treated. The lilac stress ampoule which may possibly have tested may be added,

  • thirdly an attenuation ampoule is treated (if necessary).
    Always test amplification and time!
