The Triple Heater Meridian – what is it actually?

The “Triple Heater” is not an organ and does not exist in conventional medicine. The term comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and describes a functional unit consisting of 3 parts. This unit serves on the one hand for energy production (food energy, basic energy and defence energy) and on the other hand there are connections to the so-called “digestive fire” and the hormone system. The 3-fold warmer is a passageway through which water, juices and food are transported.

The upper 3-fold warmer is connected to the thorax, lungs, throat, head, pericardium and heart. It distributes fluids throughout the body in the form of a fine mist.

In the middle 3-fold warmer, food energy is created as in a fermentation chamber by the spleen, stomach, gallbladder and pancreas.

In the lower 3-fold warmer, defensive energy is created by filtration in the liver, intestine, kidney and bladder. The “impure energy” is excreted through the urine.

The so-called “digestive fire” is closely related to the 3-fold warmer. TCM uses here the image of a pot (stomach) with soup as a symbol for the food, which is heated over a fire. The fire symbolises the function of the spleen and pancreas. The heating produces the so-called food essence, which is also called “Gu-Qi”. This is then distributed as the body’s own energy to all other organs in the upper 3- fold Heater after its union with the “Breathing Qi”. The whole thing works like a distillation process. The fire under the pot must have the right heat. If the fire is too big, the pot boils over; if the fire is too small, no proper distillation takes place. If the “stomach pot” is filled with ice-cold food and drinks, cold fruits and vegetables or (sour) dairy products, the digestive fire has to do a lot of work and in the long run Spleen Qi Deficiency occurs which is often the cause of chronic diseases.

With BICOM therapy, we can energetically support the function of the 3-fold warmer meridian in a very targeted way. This belongs to the Element Fire and is the YANG partner of the Heart Meridian. The Pericardial or Circulatory Meridian and the Small Intestine Meridian also belong to the Element of Fire.

The element fire and the mentioned meridians can be supported by the element and meridian ampoules from the KTT 5 elements test box. They are part of the stabilising therapy within the KTT therapy concept, which is taught in the KTT seminars.

Partially in the literature, one finds relationships of the triple warmer meridian to the endocrine organs and the hormonal balance. This is still controversially discussed in classical TCM.

In the 5 Elements Test Box of the KTT, the ampoules “female hormones” and “male hormones” are found as sub-ampoules to the Triple Heater.

In BICOM Bioresonance therapy, we often use the meridian programs for this purpose:

  • 3 E (3-fold warmer) acute 270.1

  • 3 E (3-fold warmer) chronic 271.1

  • 3 E (3-fold warmer) (1st recommendation) 3360.0*

  • 3 E (3-fold warmer) (2nd recommendation) 3361.0*

  • Patient-specific information is used in the input area of the BICOM device. The beginning and end points of the bladder meridian are then used for meridian flooding.

On both sides of the body – see picture on the left.

You can find the description of these points in your program manual or an acupuncture atlas.

Use the individually tested meridian programs which you can also combine into a program chain:

Input cup: blood, sputum or urine
Input applicator (black): Button applicator or adhesive

The applicator on 3E 23 both sides output applicator (red): Gold finger or adhesive applicator on 3E 1 on both sides Then swap the input and output and start the program or programs again.

Procedure for stagnation of the 3-fold extender -Programs:

  • Unblock 3017.0 and/or 918.0

  • 3 E (3-fold warmer) acute 270.1

  • 3 E (3-fold warmer) chronic 271.1

  • 3 E (3-fold warmer) (1st recommendation) 3360.0*

  • 3 E (3-fold warmer) (2nd recommendation) 3361.0*

Testing of individual programs and forming own program chain. The structure and applicator system is identical to that of the first-mentioned flow-through. The best possible and easiest attachment to the meridian points can be achieved with the adhesive applicators.

Via channel 2, the ampoule “Triple Warmer Meridian” from the “5 Elements Test Box” can also be used for both treatment suggestions. “Triple Heater Meridian” from the “5 Elements Test Box” can also be used for both treatment suggestions.

In acupuncture, points of the “Triple Warmer Meridian” are clinically applied for: Neuralgias and paresthesias, Shoulder and arm pain, temporal headaches, migraine, facial neuralgias, and diseases of the eye and ear.

The point 3-E 5 is the Key Point of the YANG WEI MAI, one of the so-called miracle meridians. It is used for: skin diseases, chronic joint pain, rheumatic diseases,

cramps, restless legs, intercostal neuralgia, rotation restrictions of the cervical spine and all the indications of the 3E meridian already mentioned above.

You will learn more about this topic and a lot of interesting information in the seminar “Miracle- Meridians and Chakras”, which is organised by AKI.
