Most people report feeling happier following CES. Their minds are more alert. Their bodies are more relaxed and they feel more energetic. Some patients feel light right away. For others, a heavy groggy feeling is possible. While these patients generally have the best results, it is important for them to complete the treatment or the heavy feeling can persist for hours or even days. Therefore, it is always recommended to finish a treatment. If the current is set to 250 microamperes or more, 20 minutes is usually enough time. If current is below 250 microamperes then treatment should last an hour. If a heavy feeling is present at the end of the treatment time, continue the treatment until the heavy feeling gives way to a lighter one.
